PBS TEACHERLINE
OFFERS
ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ONLINE FOR TEACHERS.
PBS TeacherLine, partially supported by a grant from the
U.S. Department of Education, is committed to helping teachers
acquire the skills they need to prepare students for a successful
future. PBS TeacherLine provides online professional development through
facilitated courses that meet
national and local standards.
This means participants will
experience supportive and collaborative learning
communities and exemplary Internet-based resources. The courses were
developed in collaboration with organizations such as the International Society
for Technology in Education (ISTE), the National Council of Teachers
of Mathematics (NCTM), a National Advisory Board and PBS member
stations. See Press Release
